Capistrano is a Ruby tool that enables developers to run scripts in parallel on multiple servers and environments via SSH.

Shunt practically implements the same functionality, only via PHP.

Just like Capistrano, Shunt can make for an ideal deployment script, helping developers launch or control applications on different servers at the same time, automating tasks, installations, tests, etc..

Besides this SCP (file copying) and SFTP (file transferring) support is also included.
